Regulated Feeder
A Loss-in-Weight Feeder is a sophisticated machine comprising a hopper, feeder (single-axis or double-axis screw feeder), weighing system, and regulator. During operation, the hopper, material, and feeder are continuously weighed together. As the material is delivered, the actual weight loss rate is measured and compared with the required weight loss rate (set value). The system then automatically adjusts the feeder rate to correct any deviations from the set point, ensuring a consistent, even, and precise material feed.
The Loss-in-Weight Feeder is ideal for plastic granules, powders, calcium carbonate, talcum powder, resin film powders, flour, starch, and more. For different raw materials, we offer two tailored scales: powder scales (to address metering and feeding issues of materials with poor fluidity) and granular scales (to solve any bridging issues). These designs significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of the existing production process.
