A loss-in-weight feeder is an advanced machine featuring a hopper, a feeder (either single-axis or double-axis screw), a sophisticated weighing system, and a precise regulator. During operation, the system continuously weighs the hopper, material, and feeder together. As material is delivered, the actual weight loss rate is measured and compared to the desired rate. The system then automatically corrects any deviations by adjusting the feeder rate. This ensures materials are fed continuously, evenly, and with unparalleled accuracy.
The loss-in-weight feeder is versatile, ideal for plastic granules, powders, calcium carbonate, talcum powder, resin film powders, flour, starch, and more. To accommodate various raw materials, we offer two tailored scales: powder scales (for materials with poor fluidity) and granular scales (to eliminate bridging problems).
