Product Description

The Horizontal Ribbon Mixers are indispensable in efficiently mixing, stirring, and blending powders, granular materials, slurries, or viscous substances. With the capability to be outfitted with a liquid spraying system, they can be tailored to user specifications for vacuum, pressurized, heated, or cooled operations. This exceptional versatility fulfills the mixing and stirring requirements of materials under diverse process conditions. Horizontal ribbon mixers find extensive applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and building materials industries. They are ideal for mixing powder with powder, incorporating small amounts of liquid into powder, and blending powder with granules.

The Horizontal Ribbon Mixer features a primary mixing chamber and a stirrer drive device. Inside the U-shaped tubular chamber, a double-layered, counter-rotating ribbon spiral agitator shaft is positioned. The outer spiral ribbon, powered by a drive mechanism, propels materials from both ends of the chamber towards the center, while the inner spiral ribbon drives materials from the center towards the ends, creating a superior convective mixing effect . The discharge port is conveniently located at the center bottom of the horizontal chamber. The outer ribbon's spiral configuration, combined with the main shaft's rotation, directs the material inside the chamber towards the central discharge port, ensuring complete and efficient discharge with no dead corners .
