Housing: The robust, stationary outer shell that encapsulates the rotor securely.
Inlet and Outlet: Precisely designed openings ensuring smooth material entry and exit.
Drive Mechanism: Typically powered by an electric motor coupled with a gearbox for optimal performance.

Working Principle:

Material Inlet:
The material to be controlled enters the valve via the inlet, conveniently located at the top of the valve.
The internal rotor, equipped with multiple pockets, rotates within the valve housing, aligning these pockets under the inlet.
Filling the Pockets:
Material seamlessly falls into the pockets by the force of gravity, ensuring each one fills as it passes under the inlet.
Rotational Movement:
A sophisticated drive mechanism rotates the rotor, with adjustable speed to meet specific material flow rate requirements.
As the rotor revolves, the filled pockets transition from the inlet area towards the outlet.
Material Discharge:
Upon reaching the outlet, typically at the bottom of the valve, the material discharges efficiently due to gravity.
The emptied pockets then continue their rotation back towards the inlet to commence the process anew.
Sealing:
Engineered for an impeccable seal between the inlet and outlet, the rotary valve design prevents air or material leakage, thus maintaining a consistent flow and pressure.
Advanced sealing mechanisms are incorporated in some rotary valves to manage fine powders and ensure airtight functionality.
