The pipe chain conveyor, also known as a pipe chain machine, pipe conveyor, or chain conveyor, is an exemplary solution for the continuous transportation of powder, small particles, and small pieces of loose materials. It offers unparalleled versatility, allowing for horizontal, oblique, and vertical transportation. Within a sealed pipeline, the chain acts as a robust transmission component to drive the movement of materials seamlessly through the pipeline.
When transported horizontally, material particles are efficiently pushed by the chain in the direction of movement. As internal friction between material layers surpasses external friction against the pipe wall, materials advance smoothly with the chain, creating a stable and consistent material flow.
When conveying materials vertically, particles within the pipe are propelled upwards by the chain. The lower feeding mechanism prevents upper material from sliding back, inducing lateral pressure which boosts internal friction among the particles, ensuring a stable upward flow.
When internal friction among materials exceeds both the friction against the inner pipe wall and the material's own weight, the materials are carried upwards with the chain, forming a continuous and efficient material flow.
