A loss-in-weight feeder is an advanced machine composed of a hopper, a feeder (single-axis or double-axis screw feeder), a weighing system, and a regulator. This sophisticated device continuously weighs the hopper, material, and feeder together. As materials are fed, the actual weight loss rate is meticulously measured and compared against the required weight loss rate (set value). The system auto-corrects any deviations from the set point by adjusting the feeder rate, ensuring materials are delivered continuously, evenly, and accurately.
The loss-in-weight feeder is expertly designed for plastic granules, powders, calcium carbonate, talcum powder, resin film powders, flour, starch, and more. We have engineered two distinct scales to address different raw material needs: powder scales for materials with poor fluidity and granular scales to prevent bridging issues.
