regulated feeder
A loss-in-weight feeder is an automated system composed of a hopper, a feeder (single-axis or double-axis screw feeder), a weighing mechanism, and a regulator. Throughout operation, the system continuously weighs the hopper, material, and feeder collectively. As materials are dispensed, the actual weight loss rate is consistently measured and compared to the desired weight loss rate (preset value). The system automatically adjusts the feeder rate to rectify any deviations from the set point, ensuring a continuous, uniform, and precise feeding process.
The loss-in-weight feeder is adept at handling plastic granules, powders, calcium carbonate, talcum powder, resin film powders, flour, starch, and more. We offer two distinct scales tailored to different raw materials: powder scales (addressing challenges in metering and feeding materials with poor flow) and granular scales (resolving any bridging issues). These solutions effectively tackle common production process problems.
